Winner ITAC 2022 Award for “Surviving COVID-19”
Cranbrook Care won a prestigious Information Technology Across Care (ITAC) Award in the category of ‘Surviving COVID-19’, recognising the company’s commitment to harnessing the latest technology to improve life for its residents throughout the recent pandemic.
Cranbrook Care’s entry, Living a Full Life in Lockdown, covered a raft of initiatives implemented over the past 2 years to bridge the gap between pre-pandemic life and living through COVID-19 feeling safe yet connected.
Cranbrook Care Wins Award in the ITAC Awards 2018 – Category of Best Aged Care Software Development and/or Deployment
Cranbrook Care’s entry in the ITAC Awards 2018 was “A New ‘Smart Generation’ – IT Implementation” in the Implementation category for Best Aged Care Software Development and/or Deployment. There were six Awards in the Implementation Category. In this category of Best Aged Care Software Development and/or Deployment, our IT Group Asset and Systems Manager, Edwina Bower represented Cranbrook Care at the Awards Ceremony. We were fortunate to win the Award in this particular category! Cranbrook Care’s submission outlined how its IT implementation across our Residences benefits the residential, home/ community care or retirement living sectors.
Lansdowne Gardens Wins Award in the SoupedUp Hospitality & Lifestyle Aged Care Awards 2018
Congratulations to Catherine Doyle from Lansdowne Gardens on being selected as the Winner of the Hospitality & Lifestyle Aged Care Awards 2018 – in the category of Lifestyle/Activities Individual Award. The SoupedUp Hospitality & Lifestyle Aged Care Awards (HLACA) recognises and rewards outstanding team members, initiatives and facilities for providing quality and superior catering, cleaning, laundry and lifestyle services within aged care facilities across Australia. The 2018 Lifestyle/Activities Individual Award is Awarded to a Lifestyle or Activities Individual who has made an outstanding contribution to their profession and whose dedication to their facility and residents is commendable. Since Catherine commenced as the Leisure & Lifestyle Coordinator at Lansdowne Gardens there has never been a dull moment at Lansdowne Gardens and many of the residents can say that “Life Begins at Lansdowne Gardens” with the number of varied and interesting activities on offer.
Lansdowne Gardens Wins Savour Australian Restaurant & Catering Award for Excellence 2016
Lansdowne Gardens is excited to announce they are the winners of the Savour Restaurant & Catering Award for Excellence in their category for the Sydney Metropolitan area and came second in the National Awards for Excellence. Congratulations to the Food Services team for winning this outstanding award. It is a reflection of our commitment to excellence in service and quality food services for our residents.

The Savour Australia HOSTPLUS Awards for Excellence is a nationally recognised, independently judged awards program that recognises exceptional service and culinary talent across Australia. Lansdowne Gardens wins 2014 Better Practice Award
Lansdowne Gardens is thrilled to have won an award, second year in a row at the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency, Better Practice Awards. Lansdowne Gardens received the 2014 award for its Music Therapy Program. The Music Therapy Program was implemented to show that music is eternal, inter-generational and historical. The goal is to include residents in the discussions, opinions on the composition and to provide an interactive program of listening to music and discussion.
Lansdowne Gardens Wins Oscar Hospitality Awards NSW Facility of the Year 2014
Lansdowne Gardens is thrilled to have won two awards at the 2014 Oscar Hospitality Awards. Lansdowne Gardens was selected as State Winner and a National Finalist as Facility of the Year and our Wycombe Road Chef Elvis Zhang was selected as a State Winner and National Finalist in the category Chef/Cook of the Year. Congratulations Elvis and the whole team on your achievements.
NSW Laundry Services Individual of the Year 2013 Award
We are pleased to announce that our Housekeeping Coordinator Leanne Polglase has won the Oscar Hospitality Award for NSW Laundry Services Individual of the Year 2013. The Laundry Services Individual of the Year was awarded to an individual who was able to demonstrate their efficient work ethic and dedication to both the facility and residents. Leanne has been a member of the Lansdowne Gardens team since we opened and has never ceased to be a vital and reliable team member. She is always working hard to ensure the smooth running of the laundry. Congratulations Leanne on winning this award.
Lansdowne Gardens wins 2013 Better Practice Award
Lansdowne Gardens is very excited to have won an award at the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency’s Annual Better Practice Awards 2013. These awards recognise quality improvement and better practice in aged care and serve as exemplars to encourage improvement and innovation and recognise the aged care industry’s high achievers.
Lansdowne Gardens was granted the award for its Men’s Boardroom Luncheon Series which was established for the gentlemen at Lansdowne Gardens in recognition that many like to keep up to date with business matters and find many of the activities and outings female oriented. The objective of the series is to encourage the gentlemen to keep an active mind, build relationships with other male residents, provide a social network of men and a connection to the business community.
Lansdowne Gardens on Wycombe wins Master Builders Award 2012
Lansdowne Gardens on Wycombe is thrilled to have been awarded the Master Builders Association of NSW, Excellence in Housing Award in the Aged Care Building Category. The residence which opened in September 2011, features a back-lit stone wall in the reception area, an installed rain water harvest system for irrigation, and green wall landscaping. Travertine and limestone flooring compliment each ensuite, and the “sparrow picked” sandstone front fence achieves the effect of old sandstone to blend with the surrounding local area.

The team at Lansdowne Gardens are excited to have been award two highly commended awards at the 2010 Australian Property Institute NSW Excellence in Property Awards. The categories Lansdowne Gardens was highly commended for were the Office of the Valuer General Heritage Award and the LandMark White Property Development Award.
